Countercurrent Contraband Lights Up the Wyoming Fine Arts Center
Saturday, June 28th, was a night to remember at the Wyoming Fine Arts Center as Countercurrent Contraband brought their signature energy and genre-blending flair to the dance floor.
A definite highlight? Their Grateful Dead-inspired contra dance! Somehow, the jam band classic found new life in a whirl of fiddle, feet, and smiles. The crowd erupted as the familiar tune transformed into a pulsing, joyous contra, weaving improvisation into the pattern of the dance.
It was a perfect evening, just the kind of magic Countercurrent Contraband does best.
